Have you planned a city trip to Stockholm and are you still looking for a nice hotel? As a frequent visitor of the Swedish capital, I have stayed at many different hotels. Below I’ve listed my favourite hotels in Stockholm – for every budget and taste – so you can find the perfect place for your stay.
My recommendations for hotels in Stockholm are based on my personal experiences. I made it my personal goal to test as many hotels in Stockholm as possible so that I really know what is on offer and can give you the best tips.
Budget-friendly hotels in Stockholm
In Stockholm you will find many budget-friendly hotels. Some of my favourites are:
–STF af Chapman & Skeppsholmen, because of the unique location on Skeppsholmen and the opportunity to prepare something in the kitchen. I booked a private room in this hostel when I traveled to Stockholm with my 16 year old godchildren. Just perfect!
Book your room from € 68.
–Boo Boo Living, ideal for longer stays. Located on Lidingö, this aparthotel offers studios and small apartments. A few minutes from the ferry to Nybroplan and the Lidingöbanan stop.
Book your room from € 46.
Luxury boutique hotels in Stockholm
If you are looking for a luxurious stay in Stockholm, I can recommend these boutique hotels:
–Downtown Camper, because of the giant hammock in the lobby, the fantastic rooms and the super central location. The hotel where I have stayed the most.
Book your room from € 216.
–Hotel at Six, because of the central location, the beautiful sunset the moment I entered the room, the view over the city and the delicious breakfast. The hotel I wish I could ‘ve stayed the most.
Book your room from € 155.
–Haymarket by Scandic, because of the interior, the service, the atmosphere in the hotel and restaurants Paul & Gretas. After Downtown Camper, the hotel I returned to most often.
Read my review.
Book your room from € 174.
You will find many more hotel reviews on Take me to Sweden. My goal is not only to test as many different hotels in Stockholm as possible, I also want to write an honest review of each hotel.
The above list is therefore subject to change. There are still a few hotels on my wish list that I expect could be new favorites. Stay tuned!
